Life happens. We get it. Here's how booking cancellations work:

Your Two Options:

1. Keep it as credit – Cancel anytime, zero penalty. We'll hold your payment as credit for your next booking. Simple as that.

2. Get a refund – Money back to your original payment method, with these fees:

   • More than 7 days out: No fee, full refund

   • 7 days to 48 hours out: 50% fee

   • Less than 48 hours out: 100% fee no refund

Need to modify instead?

• Email us your modification request

• Subject to availability and may incur additional charges. We'll make it work if we can!

• Heads up: Major changes (date, time, or space) within 7 days of your booking may be treated as a cancellation plus new booking

If we cancel on you: We reserve the right to cancel bookings for force majeure events, breach of terms, defaulting on payment, false information, threats to security, safety, or operations, or Code of Conduct violations.
If we cancel for any reason that's not on you, you'll get a full refund, plus we'll do our best to help you find an alternative space (at our discretion).

What We Don't Support

❌ For-profit events or sales-focused programming

❌ Marketing pitches disguised as community events

❌ Programs that don't provide value to Story members

Partnership Requirements

When we sponsor your event, here's what we need:

🤝 Full access for all Story members (this is non-negotiable)

🤝 Story as a named partner/sponsor on all marketing materials and communications

🤝 Complete transparency about all other parties involved

🤝 Collaboration on event calendar listing and access coordination

Sustainability Fee

In order to continue to stay sustainable, we require a minimum fee of $350 to cover staffing and cleaning costs . This fee is subject to change depending on the specific requirements of the event.
